Siam Country Club, Old Course is one of Thailand’s most beloved and iconic golf courses. Located in the heart of Pattaya City, the golf course is known for its pristine fairways and picturesque landscape. It is also renowned for its challenging yet enjoyable layout, providing golfers with a thrilling experience. With the investment of another 18 million US dollars, the new 27-hole golf course is ready for a “Trial Opening” with the name Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation. The golf courses are designed by a well know Arizona based, Schmidt & Curley Design Inc. The “PLANTATION” name was given in the honor of the historic Sugar Cane, Tapioca, and Pineapple plantations, and each 9-hole is named accordingly. It didn’t take long for this layout, about four kilometers from the Old Course, to attract a major event. Exactly one year after opening in 2008, it served as site of the LPGA Thailand, won by world No.1 Lorena Ochoa. Siam Country Club is the only Golf Course in Thailand to host LPGA tournaments (Honda LPGA Thailand) with Old Course (ranked amongst the Top 5 Golf Courses in Thailand) being the avenue for all the previous competitions since 2006, except for once, in 2009, that was moved to the Plantation Course (the year after it opened in 2009)
